ALL PERSONAL GROWTH INVOLVES CHANGE

Personal growth is the process of responding positively to change. It involves risk as you step from the known to the unknown.

All your growth will depend on your activity. Your strength and growth will come only through continuous effort and struggle.

There will be no development without effort.

Trouble is the common denominator of living. It is the great equalizer of life. Your trials, your sorrows and your grief's will develop you.

When good or bad fortune comes your way, you must give it meaning and transform it into something of value.

What happens to you is not as important as your reaction to what is happening.

YOUR CHOICES ARE UNLIMITED

You don't have to buy from anyone. You don't have to work at any particular job. You don't have to participate in any given relationship. You can choose. You steer the course you choose in the direction of where you want to be today, tomorrow, or in a distant time to come. You hold the tiller.

You can decide to alter the course of your life at any time.
No one can ever take that away from you. You can decide what you want and go after it.

It's always your next move.

SUCCESS IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

Every situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity. But you have to act on them if you're going to be successful

Distant pastures always look greener than those close at hand, but real opportunities are right where you are. You must simply take advantage of them when they appear. You can start where you are at any time. Success is all around you. It's not in your environment, it's not in luck or chance, or in the help of others. Success is in yourself alone. You don't need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity. What you need is to use what you have. Learn to seize good fortune, for it is always around you. You must go to success, it doesn't come to you. Open your own doors to opportunity.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE FOLLOW THEIR PLAN

You need a plan to find success.
Wanting success isn't sufficient enough to get it. You've got to ask yourself, "What are you going to do to get the things you want."
Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach.
You cannot fail with a definite step by step plan, because each step you take will carry you along to the next step, like a track.
All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.
You can not get lost on a straight road.

YOUR HABITS WILL PUSH YOU TO SUCCESS
First you make your habits, and then your habits make you. Break those habits that can break you. Adopt those practices that will become the new habits that will help you achieve the success you desire. Your habits are a form of exercise. The harder you work at something, the harder it is to quit. The easier it is to do, the harder it is to change. Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters. You are what you repeatedly do.

YOU CAN DO SOMETHING
Your life will always be to a large extent what you make of it. The mold to your success and fortune are in your hands. You cannot do everything, but you can do something.Y ou choose your thoughts and actions. Only you can find success. Nobody can do it for you. Nobody will do it for you. You have to make it happen. If you take responsibility for your actions, you can live your dreams.

EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE FOR SUCCESS

People often handle life as they do bad weather. They while away the time waiting for it to stop. Yet the tide of opportunity comes to everyone. Opportunity knocks all the time, but you've got to be ready for it. When your chance comes, you must have the equipment to take advantage of it. The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, for time and chance happen to everyone. Take a second look at what appears to be someone's "good luck." You'll find not luck but preparation, planning and success-producing thinking. When you're prepared for opportunity your chance for success is sure to come. The season of failure is the best time for sowing the seeds of success. Decide that this year will be your year for success and prepare for it to happen.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE DREAMERS

Your dreams are your visions of where you'll be after the battle, your prize at the end of your journey to success. Your goals are the steps you take to finally attain your prize.
Unless you're willing to work hard and establish some discipline in your life, all of your dreams will be pipe dreams, little mental fantasy trips that will never materialize.
Make concrete steps toward fulfilling your ultimate dream, and start with solid objectives called goals.  Your dreams are where you want to go, your goals are how you get there.
The first indispensable step to getting the things you want out of life is this.  Decide what you want.
Don't be afraid to think big and dare to be great. Dreamers are not content with mediocrity. They never dream of going half way.
People with goals succeed because they know where they're going.

DESIRE IS THE STARTING POINT OF SUCCESS

The first thing that will contribute to reaching your goal is that you simply want to reach it badly enough.  You must learn how to desire with sufficient intensity to be successful.
If you have the desire you have the power to attain success.  You can really have anything you want in life if you go after it.  But you have to want it.
As a drowning soul desires air, as a
shipwrecked person craves fresh water, so must you feel that intense, eager, insistent, demanding, ravenous desire for your success.
Your desire for success must be so strong within you that it becomes the very breath of your life.  It must be your first thought when you wake up, and your last thought when you go to bed at night.
You can have anything you want if you go after it with intensity.
